Kick-off summer by stepping into a world where soccer meets creativity.
Created in partnership with BMO, the Little Field, Big Adventure: Mini Soccer Scene Workshop invites guests to celebrate the beautiful game by building their own miniature soccer scene. Through this hands-on experience, participants can design a scene complete with a soccer net and a country flag inspired by the team they cheer for. Designed with kids, families, and soccer fans in mind, this creative workshop encourages imagination and play. Finally, each participant leaves with a finished mini soccer scene to take home as a keepsake to remember their experience.

What to expect
In this workshop, participants will:
Receive all the materials to build their scene
Each participant receives a kit that includes a base with turf, soccer net, soccer ball, jersey to paint, flag pole, backdrop, beaver goalie, your country flag and a clear case.
Be guided by our team
In addition, our friendly team will be there to guide you step by step, sharing tips, encouragement and a little spark of inspiration as your mini soccer scene comes to life.
Take home their finished soccer scene
Finally, at the end of the session, each participant leaves with a finished mini soccer scene to take home as a meaningful keepsake.

2nd Timeslot | 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
- Duration: Approximately 60 minutes
- Capacity: 20 spots per timeslot
- Location: Event rooms inside Little Canada (across from our Little Ottawa Destination)
- Admission: Workshop participation requires valid general admission to Little Canada. If you already have an admission ticket, you only need to buy the workshop ticket ($20).

- Passport Holders: If you are a Passport holder, please log in to your Individual Portal or Family Portal to purchase your workshop ticket at a special rate.
Please note:
The time indicated above is for the workshop start time. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled workshop start time to allow sufficient time to check in and make your way to the workshop space. The workshop will begin promptly as scheduled, and late arrivals may miss part of the tutorial. There is a limit of 8 tickets per transaction.
This workshop is suitable for children 6+. Children 12 and under will require adult supervision at all times. Parents are welcome to sit with their child during the workshop, even if they are not participating.

No. There is a $20 cost to participate in the workshop in addition to your general admission ticket.
The cost of the workshop is $10 plus your general admission pricing. Please see package prices below:
- Adult (13-64) admission + workshop | $56
- Senior admission (65+) + workshop | $48
- Student admission + workshop | $48
- Child admission (12 and under) + workshop | $42
Yes! Parents are allowed to sit with their children while they are working on their mini soccer scene; however, everyone attending must have valid general admission. If you decide that you would like to participate, you can purchase a separate workshop ticket for $20.
The workshop is only available Saturday, June 13, and Saturday, June 20. If there is available space in one of the other timeslots, our team may be able to change your workshop ticket time; however, that is not guaranteed. If you are unable to attend and wish to cancel, our team can assist you in a refund.
