Happy March. The thaw of winter and fresh smell of spring is certainly in the air this month. Don’t forget to set your clocks forward this weekend!
This month we celebrated International Women’s Day on Monday, March 8th. Thank you to all the amazing women at Little Canada and around the world who every day are making tremendous strides in the fight for equality. Check out our International Women’s Day spotlight on the Famous Five, who were pivotal in revolutionizing women’s rights in Canada.
In other Little Canada news, the team has been working tirelessly to get our little destinations cleaned up and put into place. We have some great photo updates to share of our Little Ottawa destination in its final home. In addition, we’ve been ramping up our search for new hires to join the Little Canada team and we’re thrilled to welcome some new team members. We’ve also launched our new careers page on our website where you can view all the current openings. Last but certainly not least, there’s some enormous news to share from Yonge-Dundas Square, it’s sure to turn some heads.

Have you been down to Yonge-Dundas Square recently? Well, if you’re in the neighbourhood, make sure to look up because there’s a little something playing on the big screen. Actually, it’s ENORMOUS! Thank you to our amazing team at The Hive for their creative whit and talents in developing such a dynamic and engaging 10 second ad for Little Canada announcing that we’re opening this Summer. Hopefully it turns a few heads at Yonge-Dundas Square in the lead up to our launch.
