The Market / COVID-19 Safety

Little Canada is opening as permitted by the province of Ontario’s Stage 3 re-opening plan for museums and indoor attractions. Our COVID-19 Safety Plan will ensure that we meet or exceed all provincial requirements, including restricting capacity to less than 50%. Along with this, Little Canada will offer our guests 45,000 square feet of space to roam in, with 15’ ceilings throughout our space.

Little Canada’s COVID-19 Safety measures include; ventilation airflow testing, an air filtration upgrade to MERV13 filters, mandatory mask wearing except while eating or drinking, timed entry to ensure physical distancing, limited hourly attendance to control capacity, routine cleaning before, during and after visits and hand sanitizing stations. Guests are also encouraged to purchase their tickets online, in advance.

A few little words from Jean-Louis

“You have to see it to believe it. If there is one thing I learned from this 10 year journey, it would be that pictures and videos do not do justice to seeing it with one’s own eyes. The team has exceeded my expectations tenfold. The care and attention, the detail, the precision, the animations, and the little hidden treasures for all to uncover. No detail has been left out.

We look forward to welcoming you to Little Canada, to take care of you, and to feel connected to this wonderful country we call home.”

–    Jean-Louis Brenninkmeijer, President and Founder of Little Canada
