Oscar Peterson

Recognized as one of the greatest jazz pianists of all time, Peterson is best known for his incredible technique, speed and style of swing. In addition to his amazing skill, Peterson was a composer, educator and advocate for racial equality. Born in Montréal in the neighbourhood of Little Burgandy, Peterson always called Canada home. He spent the remainder of his years living in Mississauga, Ontario.
